The land is currently being managed through a cooperative arrangement with the Missouri Department of Conservation to establish native prairie in the open field areas. The fields have been planted with native grasses and wildflowers over the past several years with continuing management practices to encourage wildlife, focusing on butterfly, quail and wild turkey habitat.
