The Pine Meadow home is an 1899 restored farmhouse with four bedrooms available to rent individually or the entire house can be rented. The home offers a fully furnished kitchen, a laundry room, a covered front porch, three bathrooms and wifi.

Pine Meadow sits on 120 acres with trails and private access to the Huzzah River and the Mark twain National Forest. The Dillard Mill State Historic is just a half mile down the road. Other nearby attractions include Council Bluff Lake, Viburnum Golf and Country Club. Within a day’s drive you can enjoy Johnson Shut-Ins and Elephant Rocks State Park.

The land is currently being managed through a cooperative arrangement with the Missouri Department of Conservation to establish native prairie in the open field areas. The fields
have been planted with native grasses and wildflowers over the past several years with continuing management practices.

Enjoy a day on the Huzzah River, which runs through the front of the property and the Mark Twain National Forest connected to the back of the property. Three pastures have been converted from grazing land to a planting of native grasses and wildflowers. The river has a large gravel bar for wading, hanging out, or just sitting quietly as the water flows by. The National Forest offers over 6,000 acres of land to hike, hunt and explore. The 14 acres of native grasses and wildflowers offers a chance to see Missouri in all it’s beauty.

Rental of the Pine Meadows home includes full and private access to four bedrooms and the amenities of the home – kitchen with fridge, dining/living room, laundry room, front porch. House rental is $1,000 per night, up to 7 nights in a row. House rental does not include linen services during your stay.
